COVID-19 & Visiting Guidelines: MUST READ

How do event tickets & passes work?

1) Print out or show on your mobile device the e-mail order confirmation. THIS WILL BE YOUR TASTING TICKET. You need the confirmation with order number and full name the order was purchased under at each winery to redeem your tasting. The winery staff member will mark you off their list as you make your way along the wine trail.

2) WE STRONGLY SUGGEST to make a reservation at each winery you visit. Some wineries have a limited capacity or limited amount of seating areas and will need to schedule you accordingly for their accommodations.

4) The wine trail does not provide transportation services or lodging. Please make your own arrangements. Currently, our wine trail is only accommodating groups with a maximum of 4 people and no busses or limos for our events.

Policies:

  • A valid photo ID with proof of age 21 or over is required to participate in wine tasting. Please have your ID ready upon arrival. Designated drivers and non-drinker attendees need no tickets.

  • Online sales may end 24-48 hours before an event starts or when sold out. Please plan your purchases accordingly.

  • NO tickets or passes are mailed. NO refunds. We are only able to accommodate exchanges for a future event of the same value or credit by means of online gift card to this online store only.

  • Groups are limited to maximum of 4 people at this time. Groups MUST purchase tickets together under the same order number to ensure everyone can begin at the same winery. If there are not enough tickets remaining at a starting point select a different starting winery. Questions about events and groups purchasing tickets should be directed to: sales@niagarawinetrail.org

  • Tickets and passes are sold only online at this time. Make sure you purchase yours in advance, or you may purchase tastings directly from each individual winery. However, any items included with an event ticket/pass are up to the winery's discretion to be honored.

  • Our wineries are ALWAYS open for regular wine tastings during wine trail events.

  • The wine trail is self-guided. Visit as many wineries as you wish. There is no defined “start” and “end” point to the trail.
To avoid overcrowding, and to make our tasting experiences more enjoyable for everyone, you may be asked to select a preference for a starting winery when you reserve online. Please start at your assigned winery and then proceed at your own pace and in the direction most convenient for you and your party. This helps to keep traffic flowing smoothly around the wine trail, and helps to minimize check-in delays. This system may also introduce you to a winery you may have never stopped at before!

It is illegal for wineries to serve wine to any visibly intoxicated person and for any person to bring any outside alcoholic beverages onto our properties. Visitors who are intoxicated, disorderly or have brought outside alcoholic beverages into a winery will not be served, should not expect a refund, and may be asked to leave. We appreciate your respect for our wineries and other guests. Have fun and please drink responsibly!
